August Favourites

Hi everyone!

I've recently filmed a YouTube video of all of the beauty and fashion related things I have been enjoying over the course of the month. The video will go up tomorrow - so i'll put a link to my channel at the end of this post if you are interested in watching it. I have been lovely a variety of different things this month that I am going to share with you now!

The first 4 things are beauty related.

Firstly, my scent(s) of choice this month are my Hollister body spritz which are absolutely incredible. They are so long lasting and all three of the ones that I own smell divine. I have Crescent Bay, Solana Beach and Silver Strand Beach(my personal favourite). All three of them are completely different. Crescent Bay is very sweet, which I like in a scent however I can see how some people would find it overpowering! I smells like sugary watermelon - which is exactly how the Hollister website describes it! Solana Beach is more fruity I think and Silver Strand Beach is very tropical and coconut smelling. The body sprays are £12 or you can buy three for £24. In my opinion this isn't that expensive. They work out at £8 per bottle and the bottles are fairly generous and last ages! I will link the Hollister website underneath the picture. Solana Beach has been discontinued and replaced with Seacliff Mist which I am assuming is similar.

My next favourite of the month was my Vaseline spray and go body moisturizer which I purchased from Boots whilst I was at the seaside. It was £4.99 from boots and was worth every penny! I got the Cocoa Butter scented one and it smells so lovely. I love the Cocoa Butter scent anyway, but if you're not a fan then I would recommend the Aloe Vera one and there is an original non scented one too. It leaves your skin feeling silky soft and smooth and drys instantly which is a massive bonus. I love it!

Other beauty items I have been loving are my Essie nail varnishes which as you probably already know are amazing! They're long lasting and go on smoothly. They are also opaque within two coats, but not thick and gloopy to the point that they peel off. They are towards the pricier end of the nail varnish spectrum but I have picked up a pack of three for £10 in TKmaxx recently which is a hell of a lot more reasonable than £8 each! Essie colours I have been loving this month are Raspberry, Chinchilly and As Gold As It Gets.

The forth and final beauty product I have been loving are red lipsticks. I think they are so bold and make such a nice statement but without being too time consuming. A bright lip is an easy way to look like you've made an effort. Here are a few of my personal faves!

Left to right - Kate Moss for Rimmel Shade 22, Natural Collection in Crimson, Rimmel Moisture Renew in Shade 400 Berry Queen

My fashion picks of the months are scarves just because they are so easy to wear and accessorize outfits so simply and add something to a casual outfit. They also make the perfect Summer to Autumn transition accessory. Here are two of my most worn.
 Primark - £4

             Newlook - £7.99

I have also been enjoying wearing heels with a wedge with a cut out (see pictures). They are very comfortable in comparison with any other heels I have ever worn! I love them. The two pairs I have got are from Internationale and Next and they are perfect for Summer and cute for Autumn months too.

See you soon!
